Frequently Asked Questions



How old must I be to enroll in a course? 

18 years of age

Do you charge for your courses? 

All our courses and materials are absolutely free of charge.  


Do you offer degree programs or college credit for your courses? 

Our courses are not designed for college or university credit. If you are interested in earning credits or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree program,  there are reputable Christian higher institutions of learning that we can refer you to.   

Is there a deadline to complete my studies?
No!  All our courses are self-paced.  Our courses are designed for busy individuals.    Ordinarily, a course can be completed anywhere from two weeks to a month. It all depends on each individual's capacity to learn, time available and access to technology. 

Will I have access to an instructor during my studies?
Yes, you will have one who will be available to answer any questions and guide you in your studies.  

Are there going to be quizzes or tests after each course?
Yes, there will be tests/quizzes/exams available after each chapter or at the end of each course.  Although they are going to be open book, it is highly encouraged that you maintain integrity in your work; try as much as possible not to review the answers before answering the questions.  

Do you offer a certificate for every course?

No, there are a few courses that do not offer an optional certificate of completion.  When you access the "our courses" page and scroll down, you will be able to see in bold highlights which course does not offer a certificate.   (Please note getting a certificate is optional in our training program, it is not mandatory).  


Do you mail out certificates?
Unfortunately, in order to reduce our overhead costs, we only email certificates of completion at this time. 


Do I  require textbooks for my course?
No, you do not, the course materials (study guide or manual) are provided for you via the link at no cost.



Is Your Organization/ School Legally Registered? 
Yes! DOZme International, the parent ministry of Sword of The Spirit Training program is a registered nonprofit Christian Organization in the United States and it is a chartered ministry through the United Christian Faith Ministries Evangelistic Association, a 501(c) 3  foundation.   

Are your courses or program approved?
Yes!  DOZme Int'L has a religious exemption in the state of New Mexico (Section 21-23-4 NMSA 1978) and Idaho ID Code § 33-2402 to offer faith-based training through SOTS (our training arm of the ministry).   

What type of curriculum Does SOTS use? 
The two main curricula currently used are :
1.  Harvestime Training Curriculum -  With permission from Harvestime International Network, SOTS/DOZme uses Harvestime course materials as part of their curricula. These courses are copyrighted and cannot be used without permission.  http://harvestime.org/

2.  Discipleship Tools by In Thy Word Ministries - With permission from ITW ministries, we are able to use, reprint and share their studies with the public.   URL address www.discipleshiptools.org. These courses are copyrighted and cannot be used without permission.

SOTS course materials are also copyrighted by DOZme International and Sword of The Spirit Bible Institute.  Any unauthorized use of these materials without written approval is strictly prohibited.  

 

Are your courses completely online?

All of our courses are completed online/distance learning.  However, on occasion, we do offer seminars, workshops at our administrative offices in New Mexico, USA.
